Rappresentatività euristica
La rappresentatività euristica viene usata quando si giudica la probabilità di un evento in incertezza. È uno dei gruppi di euristiche proposti dagli psicologi Amos Tversky e Daniel Kahneman nei primi anni '70. Le euristiche sono descritte come "scorciatoie giudiziarie che generalmente ci fanno dove abbiamo bisogno di andare e rapidamente, ma a costo di occasionalmente mandarci via il corso". Le euristiche sono utili perché usano la riduzione dello sforzo e la semplificazione nel processo decisionale.
