Ci sono anche dei diacritici, U + 0339 ̹ che uniscono la metà destra anello sotto e U + 031C ̜ combinando l'anello sinistro di sinistra sotto, per indicare rispettivamente i gradi più alti e minori di arrotondamento. Questi diacritici "più" e "meno arrotondati" sono talvolta usati anche con le consonanti per indicare i gradi di labializzazione.
