Spirula
Spirula spirula è una specie di mollusco di cefalopodi simile a calamari. È l'unico membro del genere Spirula, la famiglia Spirulidae e l'ordine Spirulida. A causa della forma del suo guscio interno, è comunemente noto come il calamaro del tronco o il piccolo calamaro. Poiché l'animale vivente ha un organo che emette luce, è anche conosciuto talvolta come il calamaro di coda.
