कॅज्य्युट्री / केडर / आधारभूत, किंवा केस-आधारित तर्क, लागू नैतिकता आणि न्यायशास्त्र मध्ये एक पद्धत आहे, अनेकदा तत्त्व एक समालोचन म्हणून वर्गीकृत - किंवा नियम आधारित तर्क. शब्द "casuistry" लॅटिन casus पासून साधित केलेली आहे. कॅज्युटरी विशिष्ट कारणांमुळे सैद्धांतिक नियमांचा वापर करून किंवा विस्तारित करून आणि नवीन नियमांना या नियमांचा अवलंब करून नैतिक समस्या सोडविण्यासाठी वापरले जातात. चवदार पण नीच तर्कशुद्धता वापरणे, विशेषकरून नैतिक प्रश्नांच्या संबंधात टीका करण्याकरिता हा शब्द सामान्यतः वापरण्यात येतो.
