Inkwizycja jest grupą instytucji w systemie wymiaru sprawiedliwości Kościoła Rzymskokatolickiego, której celem jest walka z herezją. Te dwa kraje w szczególności prowadziły Inkwizycję w swoich imperiach w obu Amerykach, Azji i Afryce.
