Nutation
Nutation to kołysanie, kołysanie lub pokiwanie ruchem w osi obrotu obiektu symetrycznego w dużym stopniu osiowo, takiego jak żyroskop, planeta lub pocisk w locie lub jako zamierzone działanie mechanizmu. W odpowiedniej ramce odniesienia można ją zdefiniować jako zmianę drugiego kąta Eulera. Jeśli nie jest to spowodowane przez siły zewnętrzne ciała, nazywa się wolną nutation lub Euler nutation. Czystą mutacją jest ruch osi obrotu, tak że pierwszy kąt Eulera jest stały. W dynamice statku kosmicznego, precesja jest czasami określana jako nutation.
Definicja słowa nutation w słowniku
Pierwszą definicją nutacji w słowniku jest okresowa zmienność precesji osi Ziemi, powodująca, że bieguny Ziemi oscylują wokół swojej średniej pozycji. Inną definicją nutowania jest okresowa zmiana w równomiernej precesji osi dowolnego wirującego ciała, takiego jak żyroskop, wokół horyzontu. Nutynka jest również nazywana: circumnutation. spiralny wzrost pędów, wąsów lub podobnych narządów roślinnych, spowodowany zmiennością szybkości wzrostu w różnych częściach.
