Linguagem de montagem
Um idioma de montagem é uma linguagem de programação de baixo nível para um computador ou outro dispositivo programável, em que há uma correspondência muito forte entre o idioma e as instruções do código da máquina da arquitetura. Cada linguagem de montagem é específica para uma arquitetura de computador particular, em contraste com a maioria das linguagens de programação de alto nível, que são geralmente portáveis em múltiplas arquiteturas, mas requerem interpretação ou compilação. O idioma de montagem é convertido em código de máquina executável por um programa de utilitário referido como um montador; o processo de conversão é referido como montagem ou montagem do código. A linguagem de montagem usa um mnemônico para representar cada instrução ou operação de máquina de baixo nível. As operações típicas requerem um ou mais operandos para formar uma instrução completa, e a maioria dos montadores pode, portanto, tirar rótulos, símbolos e expressões como operandos para representar endereços e outras constantes, liberando o programador de cálculos manuais tediosos.
