O castrismo é uma variante do comunismo, alinhada e criada por Fidel Castro. O castrismo é influenciado por muitas ideologias, mais particularmente pelas teorias do revolucionário cubano José Martí, e depois de 1961, Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Vladimir Lênin e, segundo alguns colegas, companheiro do movimento 26 de julho, Che Guevara. O foco principal do castrismo é a prática e a teoria da revolução e do governo revolucionário em Cuba e promove o nacionalismo cubano, a solidariedade latino-americana, a justiça social e a democracia popular.
