Honshu
Honshu (本州, Honshū ?, literalmente "Ilha Principal" ou "Província Principal") ((ouvir)) é a maior e mais populosa ilha do Japão. A ilha principal da nação, é ao sul de Hokkaido, atravessando o Estreito de Tsugaru, ao norte de Shikoku, no Mar Interior e a nordeste de Kyushu, através do Estreito de Kanmon. É a sétima maior ilha do mundo e a segunda mais populosa após o Java.
