Líbia, oficialmente o Estado da Líbia, é um país da região do Magrebe do norte da África, limitado pelo mar Mediterrâneo ao norte, ao Egito a leste, Sudão ao sudeste, Chade e Níger ao sul, e Argélia e Tunísia para o Oeste. Uma guerra civil e uma intervenção militar liderada pela OTAN em 2011 resultaram na expulsão e morte do ex-líder do país, Muammar Gaddafi, e do colapso de sua "Revolução Al Fateh" de 21 anos e de 34 anos e de 34 anos Estado da Jamahiriya.
