Redstarts são um grupo de pequenos pássaros do Velho Mundo. Eles foram anteriormente classificados na família do tordo, mas agora são conhecidos como parte da família de Flycatcher do Velho Mundo Muscicapidae. Atualmente, eles são tratados em quatro gêneros, o verdadeiro Phoenicurus Redstarts, os gêneros Chaimarrornis e Rhyacornis, bem relacionados, e o gênero Hodgsonius menos relacionado.
