Troca - troca sem dinheiro, ou seja, bens para bens. As partes concordam com o valor dos bens ou serviços e se esforçam para que o saldo seja zero. O troco foi o primeiro sistema econômico de sociedades com ou sem conhecimento de dinheiro; Na Roma antiga, o motivo do seu uso foi a perda de valor do dinheiro. Hoje, o trueque é usado no comércio para contornar restrições monetárias ou países que sofrem de falta de recursos cambiais conversíveis. Troco multilateral - permite trocar bens e serviços dentro da comunidade de troca, não necessariamente em uma única transação. Ao contrário da forma original, quando as trocas de bens aceitas por ambos os lados da transação foram consideradas equivalentes, o trueque de multilateral é registrar outras transações de compra / venda entre os participantes.

Barter wielostronny - umożliwia wymianę dóbr i usług w ramach społeczności barterowej, niekoniecznie w ramach jednej transakcji. W odróżnieniu od pierwotnej formy, gdzie dokonywana była wymiana dóbr uznanych przez obie strony transakcji za równowartościowe, barter wielostronny polega na rejestrowaniu kolejnych transakcji kupna/sprzedaży barterowej pomiędzy uczestnikami.
