Ambulacral
Ambulacral este un termen utilizat în mod obișnuit în contextul unor părți anatomice ale arborescentului Echinodermata sau al claselor Asteroidea și Edrioasteroidea. Echinodermele pot avea părți ambulacrale care includ osici, plăci, spini și frații. De exemplu, stelele de mare sau "peștii de stea" au un canal ambulacral pe partea lor orală. Această canelură ambulacrală se extinde de la gura până la capătul fiecărei raze sau brațe. Fiecare canelură a fiecărui braț are la rândul său patru rânduri de picioare tubulare tubulare care pot fi extinse sau retrase. În opusul canalului ambulacral este o creastă ambulacrală pe partea aborală a fiecărei raze, cunoscută sub numele de ambulacrum. Acestea au intembulacra între ele.
