Producția lotului
Producția loturilor este o tehnică utilizată în procesul de fabricație, în care obiectul în cauză este creat etapizat pe o serie de stații de lucru și sunt fabricate diferite loturi de produse. Cu producția de locuri de muncă și fluxul de producție este una dintre cele trei metode de producție principale. Producția loturilor este cea mai răspândită în brutării și în fabricarea de pantofi de sport, ingrediente farmaceutice, apă purificatoare, cerneluri, vopsele și adezivi. În fabricarea cernelurilor și vopselelor se folosește o tehnică numită o culoare. O culoare colorată este cea în care se fabrică mai întâi cea mai ușoară culoare, cum ar fi galben deschis, urmată de culoarea din ce în ce mai întunecată, cum ar fi portocaliu, apoi roșu și așa mai departe până când ajunge la negru și apoi începe din nou.
