Bluebuck
Albastrul sau antilopa albastră, numită uneori blaubok, este o specie disparută de antilopă, primul mamifer african mare care a dispărut în vremurile istorice. Ea este legată de antilopa de roan și de antilopa sable, dar puțin mai mică decât oricare dintre ele. A trăit în regiunea de coastă sud-vestică a savanelor din Africa de Sud, dar a fost mai răspândită în timpul ultimei perioade glaciare. Probabil a fost un alimentator selectiv, preferând ierburile de înaltă calitate. Europenii s-au confruntat cu albastrul în secolul al XVII-lea, dar era deja neobișnuit până atunci. Coloniștii europeni l-au vânat cu aviditate, în ciuda faptului că carnea era dezgustătoare, transformând habitatul în agricultură. Albastrul a dispărut în jurul anului 1800. Numai patru exemplare montate rămân, în muzeele din Viena, Stockholm, Paris și Leiden, împreună cu niște oase și coarne în altă parte. Niciunul dintre exemplarele muzeului nu prezintă o culoare albastră, care ar putea proveni dintr-un amestec de fire de păr negru și galben.
