Bushmeat este carne din animale sălbatice vânate în Africa și Asia. Termenul a fost folosit în special pentru a se referi la carnea provenită de la animale din Africa de Vest și Centrală. Astăzi termenul este adesea folosit pentru a se referi la o gamă mai largă de țări și în special în ceea ce privește vânătoarea speciilor de maimuțe pe cale de dispariție. În Trinidad și Tobago este denumită alternativ carnea sălbatică. Multe organizații de conservare s-au reunit pentru a aborda fenomenul Bushmeat prin formarea Grupului de forțe de criză Bushmeat, a cărui misiune este de a construi o circumscripție publică, profesională și guvernamentală care să vizeze identificarea și susținerea unor soluții care să răspundă în mod eficient crizei din Africa și în jurul lumea.
