În economie, o marfă este un element comercial destinat să satisfacă dorințele sau nevoile. Mărfurile economice cuprind bunuri și servicii. Definiția exactă a termenului de mărfuri este utilizată în mod specific pentru a descrie o clasă de bunuri pentru care există cerere, dar care este furnizată fără o diferențiere calitativă pe o piață.
