Cursul este o lucrare efectuată de studenți sau cursanți în scopul învățării. Cursurile pot fi specificate și atribuite de către profesori sau prin învățarea ghidurilor în cursurile auto-predate. Cursurile pot cuprinde o gamă largă de activități, inclusiv practică, experimentare, cercetare și scriere. În cazul studenților din universități, licee și școli medii, cursurile sunt deseori clasificate, iar scorurile sunt combinate cu cele ale examenelor evaluate separat pentru a determina scorurile generale ale cursului.
