O notă de credit sau un memorandum de credit este un document comercial emis de un vânzător unui cumpărător. Vânzătorul emite, de obicei, o notă de credit pentru aceeași sumă sau mai mică decât factura, apoi rambursează banii cumpărătorului sau îl fixează în schimbul unui sold datorat altor tranzacții.
