Doxastic logică
Logica doxastică este o logică modală care se referă la raționamentul credințelor. Termenul doxastic derivă din vechea glorie greacă, doxa, care înseamnă "credință". De obicei, o logică doxastică utilizează "Bx" pentru a însemna "Se crede că este cazul", iar setul denotă un set de convingeri. În logica doxastică, credința este tratată ca un operator modal. : Există un paralel complet între o persoană care crede propoziții și un sistem formal care derivă din propoziții. Folosind logica doxastică, se poate exprima echivalentul epistemic al teoriei incompletenței lui Gödel despre teorema metalogică, precum și a lui Löb și alte rezultate metamologice în termeni de credință.
