Bacalaureatul în limba engleză este un indicator de performanță școlară legat de certificatul general de educație secundară. Ea măsoară procentul de studenți într-o școală care obține grade de 5 + A-C în subiecți GCSE în mod tradițional. Nu ar trebui să fie confundată cu certificatul de bacalaureat în limba engleză, care a fost o calificare academică propusă pentru a fi acordată în sistemul de învățământ secundar de limba engleză în locul GCSE.
