Acidul erucic este un acid gras omega-9 mononesaturat, denumit 22: 1ω9. Are formula CH37CH = CH11COOH. Acesta este predominant în semințele de floarea-soarelui cu un conținut raportat de 20 până la 54% în ulei de rapita din acidul erucic ridicat și 42% în ulei de muștar. Acidul erucic este, de asemenea, cunoscut ca acid cis-13-docosenoic, iar izomerul trans este cunoscut ca acidul brassidic.
