Tokugawa Ieyasu
Tokugawa Ieyasu a fost fondatorul și primul shogun al shogunatului Tokugawa din Japonia, care a domnit din bătălia de la Sekigahara în 1600 până la restaurarea Meiji în 1868. Ieyasu a preluat puterea în 1600, a primit numirea lui shogun în 1603, abdicat din funcție în 1605, dar a rămas la putere până la moartea sa în 1616. Numele său dat este uneori scris Iyeyasu, în funcție de pronunția istorică a noastră. Ieyasu a fost înscris postum la Nikkō Tōshō-gū cu numele Tōshō Daigongen.
