Negroidul este un termen folosit de unii antropologi legali și fizici pentru a se referi la indivizi și populații care prezintă anumite trăsături morfologice și scheletice care sunt frecvente printre majoritatea populațiilor din Africa Subsahariană. Termenul este asociat în mod obișnuit cu noțiunile de tipologie rasială contestate de majoritatea antropologilor. Pentru utilizarea modernă este asociată noțiunilor rasiale și este descurajată, deoarece este potențial ofensivă. Prima dată introdusă în știința rasială timpurie și antropometrie, taxonul a fost folosit în mod tradițional pentru a desemna unul din cele trei rase importante ale omenirii. Negroidul ca clasificare biologică rămâne în uz, în special în domeniul antropologiei criminalistice. Cuvântul este format din baza "negru" și sufixul "-oid", ceea ce înseamnă "asemănător".
