Un test de plasture este o metodă utilizată pentru a determina dacă o substanță specifică cauzează inflamarea alergică a pielii unui pacient. Orice persoană suspectată de dermatită de contact alergică și / sau dermatită atopică are nevoie de testare în patch-uri. Analiza patch-urilor ajută la identificarea substanțelor care pot determina o reacție alergică de tip întârziat la un pacient și poate identifica alergenii care nu au fost identificați prin teste de sânge sau prin teste cutanate cutanate.
