Regenţă
O regență este perioada de guvernare a regentului sau regentului. Un regent, din regensul latin, "domnia" sau consiliul de regență este o persoană sau un grup de persoane selectate pentru a acționa ca șef de stat, deoarece conducătorul este minor, nu este prezent sau este debilitat. Ocazional, termenul regent se referă la poziții mai mici decât conducătorul unei țări.
