Simpozion
În Grecia antică, simpozionul a fost o petrecere de băut. Lucrările literare care descriu sau au loc la un simpozion includ două dialoguri Socratice, Simpozionul lui Platon și Simpozionul lui Xenophon, precum și o serie de poezii grecești, cum ar fi elegantele lui Theognis din Megara. Simpozionul este descris în artă greacă și etruscă care prezintă scene similare. Echivalentul în societatea romană este conviviumul latin.
