Technophobia
Technophobia este teama sau disprețul de tehnologie avansată sau de dispozitive complexe, în special computerele. Deși există numeroase interpretări ale tehnofobiei, ele par a deveni mai complexe, pe măsură ce tehnologia continuă să evolueze. Termenul este, în general, folosit în sensul unei frici iraționale, dar alții susțin că temerile sunt justificate. Ea este legată de cyberfobie și este opusul tehnofiliei. Dr. Larry Rosen, psiholog de cercetare, profesor de informatică și profesor la Universitatea de Stat din California, sugerează că există trei subcategorii dominante ale tehnophobe - "utilizatorii incomod", "poveștile computerizate cognitive" și "comportamentele computerizate anxioase". Primul care a primit o notificare răspândită în timpul Revoluției Industriale, a observat că tehnofobia afectează diverse societăți și comunități din întreaga lume.
