Timorul
Timorul este o insulă la capătul sudic al Asia de Sud-est, la nord de Marea Timorului. Insula este împărțită între un stat suveran independent din Timorul de Est și Timorul de Vest, care face parte din provincia indoneziană East Nusa Tenggara. Insula acoperă o suprafață de 30.777 kilometri pătrați. Numele este o varianta de timur, malay pentru "est"; este așa numit deoarece se află la capătul estic al Insulelor Sunda Lesser.
