Transformator
Un transformator este un dispozitiv electric care transferă energia între două sau mai multe circuite prin inducție electromagnetică. Un curent variabil în înfășurarea primară a transformatorului creează un flux magnetic variabil în miez și un câmp magnetic variabil care influențează înfășurarea secundară. Acest câmp magnetic variabil la secundar induce o forță sau o tensiune variabilă electromotive în bobina secundară.
