Felsefede ve mantıkta ihtimal, muhtemel her değerleme altında doğru olmayan, olası tüm değerlemelerde yanlış olan önermelerin statüsüdür. Koşullu bir önerme ne mutlaka doğru, ne de yanlış olabilir. Şartlı olan önermeler, atomik parçalarının herhangi birinin gerçek değeri ile birlikte önermenin gerçek değerini belirleyen mantıksal bağlayıcılar içerdiği için olabilir. Bu, önermenin gerçek değerinin onu oluşturan cümlelerin gerçeğe bağlı değerlerine bağlı olduğunu söylemektir. Şartlı önermeler olgulara bağlıdır, oysa analitik önermeler konuştukları herhangi bir olguya bakılmaksızın geçerlidir.
