Kodagu, aynı zamanda Coorg olarak bilinir, Hindistan'ın Karnataka kentinde bir idari bölge. Güneybatı Karnataka'nın Batı Gatları'nda 4.102 kilometrekarelik bir alanı kaplar. 2001 yılında nüfusu 548.561,% 13.74'ü ilçenin kentsel merkezlerinde yaşıyor ve Karnataka'daki 30 ilçenin en az nüfuslu hale getiriyor. Kodagu, kahve ve "cesur savaşçılar" için dünyada çok iyi biliniyor. Madikeri, Kodagu'nun merkezidir. İlçenin kuzeybatısında Dakshina Kannada ilçesi, kuzeyde Hasan ilçesi, doğuda Mysore ilçesi, güneybatıda Kerala'nın Kannur ilçesi ve güneyde Kerala'nın Wayanad ilçesi sınırlandırılmıştır. Kodagu, Kodava dili ana dilinde konuşmacıların evidir. Artık Kodagu'nun toplam nüfusunun sadece beşte birini oluşturan yerli Kodavalar, çoğu Bangalore ve Mysore gibi şehirlere taşındı ve Kuzey Amerika gibi ülkelere yurt dışında bile Kodagu'daki en büyük grup olmaya devam ediyor.
