Смак, смакове сприйняття або густація - це чуттєве враження їжі або інших речовин на мові та є одним з п'яти традиційних почуттів. Смак - це відчуття, яке виробляється, коли речовина у роті хімічно реагує з клітинами рецепторів смаку, розташованих на смакових рецептах. Смак разом із запаленням та стимуляцією трійчастого нерва визначає ароматизатори їжі та інших речовин.
