Das Barock wird oft als eine Zeit des künstlerischen Stils gedacht, die übertriebene Bewegung und klares, leicht interpretiertes Detail verwendet, um Drama, Spannung, Überschwang und Größe in Skulptur, Malerei, Architektur, Literatur, Tanz und Musik zu produzieren.
