Jimi Hendrix
James Marshall "Jimi" Hendrix war ein amerikanischer Musiker, Sänger und Songwriter. Obwohl seine Mainstream-Karriere nur vier Jahre lang gespielt hat, gilt er als einer der einflussreichsten E-Gitarristen in der Geschichte der Popmusik und einer der berühmtesten Musiker des 20. Innerhalb von Monaten hatte Hendrix drei britische Top-Ten-Hits mit der Jimi Hendrix Experience: "Hey Joe", "Purple Haze" und "The Wind Cries Mary" verdient.

Listening to his version of 'Star Spangled Banner' and 'Purple Haze.' My brother played acoustic guitar and, idolising him, I thought, 'I'm going to get a guitar.'
The music I want to hear in my head sounds somewhere between Jimi Hendrix and Massive Attack. It's not really like my dad, but there will always be similarities because we have the same vocal cords, and I learnt the guitar the way he taught me.
