Fahnenflucht

Flag run or desertion means the survival of a soldier of military obligations in times of war or peace. The soldier, who is a fugitive soldier, is commonly called a deserter. Fahnenflucht oder Desertion bezeichnet das Fernbleiben eines Soldaten von militärischen Verpflichtungen in Kriegs- oder Friedenszeiten. Der fahnenflüchtige Soldat wird allgemein als Deserteur bezeichnet.
