Frikativ

A fricative is a consonant named after its articulation type, for example f, s, v, z. In its articulation, a constriction is formed that swirls the outflowing air and produces the Reibelaut. Fricatives can be voiceless or voiced. A large subgroup of the fricatives are the hissing sounds, which are formed in the front mouth area and are characterized by an audible whistling. Bei seiner Artikulation wird eine Engstelle gebildet, die die ausströmende Luft verwirbelt und den Reibelaut erzeugt. Frikative können stimmlos oder stimmhaft sein. Eine große Untergruppe der Frikative bilden die Zischlaute, die im vorderen Mundbereich gebildet werden und sich durch ein hörbares Pfeifen bzw. Zischen auszeichnen.
