Debate

Debate

A debate is an act of communication, the debate will be more complete and complex as the ideas exposed increase in quantity and solidity of arguments. The direct purpose of a debate is to expose and know the positions, bases and functional arguments of the different parties. Indirectly it can play a role of learning and enrichment for those who participate in a debate, who can turn to another position, although it is neither a purpose nor a necessary purpose. According to their spontaneity, the debates are classified in those formal ones, those that have a pre-established format, as well as the specific topic to discuss, and that they have a moderator; And those informal or spontaneous, where the topic of debate is not previously agreed, there is no direct moderator and the freedom of argumentation.
