The definition of locha in the dictionary locha means teleost fisomystome, about three decimetres in length, almost cylindrical, flattened towards the tail, blackish in color, with yellowish lists, small scales, slimy skin, and mouth surrounded by ten barbels, six in the upper lip and four lower. It has protruding lips and unpaired fins, it grows in lakes and rivers of cold water, and its meat is very fine.
