Definition of plancha in the Spanish dictionary

The first definition of plate in the dictionary of the real academy of the Spanish language is a sheet or piece of flat and thin metal with respect to its size. Another meaning of iron in the dictionary is an iron utensil, ordinarily triangular and very smooth and steeled by its lower face, which in the upper one has a handle where it is picked for ironing.
