Yes

If it is one of the most common words in Spanish, the traditional grammar analyzes it as an adverb of affirmation that is usually used answering a question. It serves, moreover, to affirm with special assertion, or to ponder something; Reviving the affirmation expressed by the verb of the sentence. It is also used as a noun, meaning consent or permission. Being a word inherited from Latin, it is also used in Italian and Portuguese. It is the logical opposite of no, although syntactically there are differences, since "yes" must occupy some place in the left periphery of the sentence associated with the complementary phrase, whereas "no" may appear outside the left periphery. es una de las palabras más usuales en español, la gramática tradicional lo analiza como un adverbio de afirmación que se suele emplear respondiendo a pregunta.
