Yogyakarta Special Province
The Yogyakarta special province (Indonesian: Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta) is a state located on the central southern coast of Jawa Island in the Republic of Indonesia. The capital city is Yogyakarta City. In modern standard Indonesian language it sounds like Yogyakkarta. In old spelling is Jogjakarta, in other languages it is often pronounced as jokjakarta, also abbreviated as jogja.
