Pigment retinitis Retinal Pigmentopathy or Retinal Pigment Degeneration is the most common hereditary retinal disease in which retinal pigmented retinal cells and retinal pigment epithelial cells are denatured. As vision cells become damaged, blindness initially occurs, resulting in a gradual narrowing of vision and eventual loss of vision . The central vision is usually maintained until late in the disease. Some of the retinitis pigmentosa is a symptom of hearing loss, kidney disease, and syndromes that are associated with other deformities, central nervous system, metabolic diseases, and chromosomal abnormalities. 색소망막염
망막색소병증 혹은 망막색소변성은 망막의 시각세포와 망막색소상피세포가 변성되는 가장 흔한 유전성 망막질환으로, 시각세포가 손상됨에 따라 초기에 야맹증이 나타나면서 점차적으로 시야가 좁아지고 결국 시력을 잃게 됩니다. 중심 시력은 보통 이 질환의 늦게까지 유지됩니다. 망막색소변성의 일부는 난청, 신장병 그리고 다른 기형, 중추신경계와 대사질환과 염색체 이상과 관련이 있는 증후군(Syndrome)의 한 증상으로 나타납니다.
