Sorokaba
Sorocaba is a city in the southern Brazilian state of Sao Paulo. Population 590,846. It is located about 100km northwest of Sao Paulo, at an altitude of about 600m. In the late 16th century, gold was expected to be buried and the pioneers reached it. However, gold was not found and has been stagnant for a while.
