slumbers
Sleep or sleep refers to the act of taking a rest in the unconscious state, which is repeated naturally. Consciousness is absent or diminished, sensory organs are relatively inactive, and almost no movement of the veterinarians is characteristic. It is distinguished from awakening by a decrease in response to stimulation, and distinguishes itself from hibernation or coma in that it can easily restore consciousness. During the sleep, assimilation is elevated, and growth and immune, nerve, bone and muscle system recovery are prominent. Sleep is found in all mammals and birds, in many reptiles, amphibians and fish. The purpose and mechanisms of sleep are only partially confirmed, and are the subject of active research. Sleep is often thought of as saving energy, but it actually reduces metabolism by only about 5-10%. Hibernating animals have a reduced metabolic rate during hibernation but have to sleep and return to hypothermic fever.
