Bal stands for honey. The director of the film, Semih Kaplanoglu received the Golden Bear statues. The film is produced by Turkey - Germany, and recorded in the Turkish mountains. Previously, Turkish film Susuz Yaz won in 1964. The film will be screened in Turkey on March 12, 2010. The main actor is Bora Altaş, 8, as a young Joseph. The film is about 'Joseph's trilogy'. Yumurta initially in 2007 and followed the Sut in 2008. This trilogy runs in reverse chronological order. It's about a child's view of the world. The film beat 19 other films.
