Anger
Template: Emotion Anger is an emotional response related to self-psychological interpretation of the situation when threatened. Often this situation is demonstrated when the fundamental boundary is violated. Some have a learned tendency to react to anger through retaliation. Anger can be used to set boundaries or beyond dangerous circumstances. Sheila Videbeck describes anger as a normal emotion that involves an uncomfortable and emotional response to the observed provocation. Raymond Novaco of UC Irvine, who since 1975 has been a literary pletor on the subject, threatened to indulge in three modes: cognitive, somatic-affective, and behavior. William DeFoore, an author of anger management, describes anger as a pressure pot: we can only use the pressure against our anger over a certain period of time until it explodes.
