Ira

Anger or anger is an emotion that is expressed with resentment, anger or irritability. The physical effects of anger include increased heart rate, blood pressure, and levels of adrenaline and noradrenaline. Some see anger as part of the brain's response to attack or flee from perceived threat or harm. Anger becomes the predominant feeling in behavior, cognitively, and physiologically when a person makes the conscious decision to take action to immediately stop the threatening behavior of another external force. Anger can have many physical and mental consequences. External expressions of anger can be found in facial expression, body language, physiological responses, and, at times, in public acts of aggression. Humans and nonhuman animals, for example, make loud sounds, try to look more physically, show their teeth, and stare at each other. Anger is a pattern of behavior designed to warn aggressors to stop their threatening behavior. A physical altercation rarely occurs without a prior expression of anger from at least one of the participants.
