Protocol
The protocol is the ethics of diplomacy and state affairs. The protocol is a guide that determines how an activity should be performed. In ancient times, the word protocol was used primarily in diplomatic and governmental fields as an attempt to establish an inadequate guideline, in the twenty-first century, the word protocol refers primarily to the field of computer and communication protocols. In international law and international relations, the protocol is an international agreement or agreement to international treaties or prior agreements. The protocol may correct previous agreement, or add additional provisions. The parties to the original agreement do not have to accept the protocol; sometimes it is described by defining it as a 'choice protocol', especially where most parties to the original agreement do not support the protocol. Some examples: the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change set up a framework for promoting compulsory gas emission limits, while the Kyoto Protocol contains the later limits agreed upon.
