WHAT DOES SULTAN MEAN IN MALAY?
Sultan
Sultan is an Islamic title that has some historical significance. Originally, this word was an abstract noun in Arabic which means "strength", "power", or "government position". Later, these words are used as Islamic rulers demanding full-of-the-art sovereignty, without assigning the caliphate as a whole. The word Sultan then has several meanings in certain contexts. The dynasties and areas ruled by the Sultan are called the Sultanate.
